The International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy was formed in 1989 by a group committed endoscopists from Europe and North America, who were soon joined by others from all over the world. They recognized the need for a scientific group who would meet at regular intervals to share their knowledge and expertise in gynecologic endoscopy. ISGE Membership

The Society is open to membership by committed endoscopists, scientists, para-medics in endoscopy and industrial individuals. Physicians in training are encouraged to join. Industrial companies may join as partner-, corporate- or plain sponsors. Members may obtain the affiliated Journal at a substantial discount. Members receive the ISGE Newsletter and reduced registration for all ISGE congresses and meetings. Membership Application Forms are available from the Secretarial Office in The Netherlands.

Bylaws

This document amends and replaces the Articles of Incorporation of the International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy dated 15th April 1988 and establishes a new Constitution of the Society.

ISGE Board Members

The ISGE has a total of 24 Board Members. The term of office is 4 years. Postal elections are held every year and candidates must be nominated by 4 active ISGE members. The nomination of the Presidency and the Executive Board Members are in a rotational system over the continents.
