We are calling for nominations for the ISGE Board who will take office at the 19th Annual Congress in Sydney, Australia, May 2010

Please follow the nomination instructions carefully to ensure adherence to the Constitution. This election, will take place under the new Constitution.

Election of new Board Members 2010 – 2014
The election of the new Board Members takes place by email or Fax during the winter. The new Board Members will join the board at the Board Meeting during the 19th Annual Congress in Sydney, May 2010.
According to the decision of the General Assembly of April 17th,1996, during the Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois, USA, Board Members have to or be Lifetime members of the ISGE
- In 2010 the Board has in total 8 full term vacancies ( year of retirement 2014)
- The present Board Membership list is attached.
- According to the Constitution the representation of the different continents is as follows: 4 for North America, 6 for Europe, 7 for Asia, 4 for Central/South America, 1 for Australia/Oceania and 2 for Africa, 1 for the Middle East. ( excl co-opted)
- According to the constitution there shall be no more than two elected Board Members from any European, Asian or Central/South American country.
- Every candidate must be nominated by four (4) members of the Society. Nomination can only be done by submission of an original Nomination Form (2 pages) fully completed to the office of the Honorary Secretary.
- Retiring Board members may re-nominate for the board after a period of twelve months
- The Election Forms must contain: the candidates name, date of birth, full address, email, present clinical appointments and ( in max 40 words) professional activities and appointments.
- The candidates must have consented to stand for election of ISGE Board Membership.
- The official Nomination Forms must have reached the ISGE Administrative Office not later than 26th February 2010. Email application is accepted. During the nomination and election process no information concerning candidates will be distributed by the Secretariat .
The Nomination Forms (2pages) must be returned to the office of the Honorary Secretary by 26th February 2010
