UPDATES: ISGE 19th Annual Congress in conjunction with the AGES XX Annual Scientific Meeting

After 21 years has gynaecological endoscopy come of age? The
answer is ....

Most procedures previously performed by laparotomy have now been
successfully performed with the help of the laparoscope. But is there
any evidence to support this enthusiastic uptake of this relatively new
surgical approach?
isge 2010 sydneyFor the first time, the surgical approach to pathology has come under
the microscope. Surgical procedures such as hysterectomy have
been handed down through generations of gynaecologists as the gold
standard of treatment. Now with the advent of a minimally invasive
approach to gynaecological disease, the question is always asked -
“where is the evidence?”
This congress will address the pros and cons of the laparoscopic
approach to the whole range of gynaecological procedures which
have been reported.

This exciting program will be complimented by a fabulous social
program for participants and partners in one of the most beautiful
cities in the world – Sydney, Australia.

The International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy and the
Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society are delighted to co-host
this meeting, and we are certain that participants will leave Sydney full of new scientifically based knowledge and a “rucksack” full of
happy Aussie memories.

WHY HAS HYSTEROSCOPY NOT GROWN LIKE LAPROSCOPY SPECIALLY WHEN IT ACTUALLY DAIGNOSES AND TREATS MOST OF GYNEACOLOGICAL PATHOLOGIES?
