Our website, http://www.isge.org, has long been the connecting platform for all of our members throughout the globe. This virtual hub is maintained in a dynamic format, which allows our endoscopic surgeon members and patient constituency to remain informed and kept abreast of cutting edge laparoscopic surgical treatments. In brief, ISGE brings advanced laparoscopic surgery home, to where our members are!
In the spirit of our open and consistent platform, we have recently reactivated our online payment system. Our members can now pay for membership electronically via credit card and enjoy the vast benefits of building their personal ISGE environment. The links provided herein will further reinforce site ranking and credibility. Moreover, we are constantly exploring the possibility of empowering member websites by bringing in social networking technologies, i.e., Twitter and Facebook, to further build our own community at http://www.weareISGE.org. The online community of international endosurgeons will also enjoy the technological enhancements of live streaming broadcast from our biannual meetings.
The Trocar, our online Videojournal of Gynecologic and Surgical Endoscopy, welcomes and encourages all members to submit their own noteworthy video surgeries, thanks to the oversight of
Dr. Ornella Sizzi. The ISGE website intends to routinely inform our members on the content of, and updates to, the Trocar. The electronic edition of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) will also be available to our members via their personal ISGE website. An RSS newsfeed is also available on the site to provide constant updates to readers on current endoscopic topics, and which also allows us to interactively add our own news to the RSS constant feed system.
Our newsletter is published biannually and made available both electronically via the website as well as mailed to members. Annual and regional meetings are announced, as well as periodic email announcements, and sent to more than five thousand recipients in our data system.
The ISGE website has remained at the forefront of constantly changing internet technology in order to serve our individual members and societies, and we always encourage your comments to [email protected] in order to help us continue to improve your services.
