Tamer Seckin:  We are in Osaka, Japan for the ISGE annual meeting.  We have an exciting meeting going on presently and we had a Board meeting yesterday.  New things are happening in ISGE.  We are very excited and one of the major excitements is our new administrator, Robert O’Shea has taken office.  Congratulations Robert.

Robert O’shea:  Thank you gentlemen thank you.

Tamer Seckin:  I would like to hear what you are going to say to our members.  They are all waiting anxiously.  We have significant amount of members from all over the globe.  I think we do have responsibility to contact and let them hear what you have to say with respect to how administrative office will function from now.

Robert O’shea:  Well, the administrative office now is situated in Adelaide, Australia, but we are hoping that with this move that all of our communication will be enhanced. Feel free to contact us by E-mail or by any other means that are appropriate for you about any issues or worries that you may have to do with your membership.  We are hoping that there will be a new set forthcoming in the near future with all members up there in Rome, the inventions and the new vision will be apprised to you.

Tamer Seckin:  My next question will be as we move on and as it was also discussed, do you like to format a thank you welcome to our new members and do you have any idea how we keep the interest of our members to our website, to our activities, as far as survival of our society and professional issues that we represent.

Robert O’shea:  Well, as I indicated, I think a regular newsletter will be the first step.

Tamer Seckin:  As we were discussing I have indicated in the website, we do have features and you will also be familiar with them.  We would like to empower every endoscopy surgeon wherever they are in the globe from Japan to United States from Canada to South America, Australia, India.  We would like to offer them the opportunity of representation in the web through us.  They will be able to make their own websites and make their profession and their practices be visible by these search engines and obviously and hopefully, we are looking forward through the news letter and we want the journal.  We do have professional journal for our members and serve the community of the world what we represent.  I think one of these things should be told to the members.  We do have a new President.  We have a new Vice President.  We owe so much to Dr. Harry Reich for all he has done.  There is a positive for the first time in years.  We do have accumulation of some funds.  We are being recognized.  I think I am very excited to have you.  You have a very good track record that we hear, in hope, I am just excited.  Thank you.

Robert O’shea:  You are welcome.

Tamer Seckin:  Thank you.  We are looking forward to hearing from many of the members in the very near future.  Thank you.
