Victor Gomel:  Good day.

 

Hiroshi Hoshiai:  Nice to see you.

 

Victor Gomel:  Nice to see you again.  I am pleased to assist in this interview about the meeting, your being the President of the 16^th Annual Congress of International Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy, and you obviously worked very hard, and you must be a tired man by now.

 

Hiroshi Hoshiai:  Yeah.

 

Victor Gomel:  In that crafting the program, what did you hope to achieve out of this Congress over years?

 

Hiroshi Hoshiai: You know, actually laparoscopic surgeries very popular all over the world, expanded education, so also each time very, now growing to expand, popular.  So obviously this Congress symbolizes safety, simplicity, and standardization.  So, it's most safety seats to popular laparoscopic surgery. 

 

Victor Gomel:  Have you achieved that objective with the Congress?

 

Hiroshi Hoshiai:  I hope so, because many, many specialists give us nice presentations.  So sometimes on discussion as simply, I believe that's very helpful, for all condition and tests, I hope.

 

Victor Gomel:  And you've had a very good turnout, recorded a high registration at the Congress, are you satisfied with the…

 

Hiroshi Hoshiai:  Absolutely, on the first, end of the first day of the registration of member, number of registration is more than 600, and from foreign countries over 200, around 300 and from Japan around 250.  So many registrants can make this success.  So, I was satisfied.

 

Victor Gomel:  Thank you very much.
