The ISGE pre-congress courses all take place on Thursday August 26th, 2021 at Hotel Le Méridien Lav Split. Please make sure to register your place, because places are limited. Pre-congress courses are free for students, residents, registrars, fellows, nursing staff and theatre technicians but registration is mandatory
As ISGE is a predominantly a society for endoscopic surgery. We will focus on laparoscopic procedures for pelvic organ prolapse repair. In times of vaginal mesh and sling bans native tissue repair and the endoscopic approach are in the focus as an alternative to proceed with less mesh use.
The course provides basic knowledge in anatomy and diagnostics as well as case discussion and step by step teaching for procedures. Let´s learn from each other!

Course objectives; This course offers both theoretical and intensive hands-on, practical, training in hysteroscopy. The psychomotor skills of the participants will be assessed by training with the hysteroscopic instruments.

  • The objectives are: To acquire knowledge both in hysteroscopy.
  • To acquire dexterity and knowledge in using and handling hysteroscopic instruments.
  • To master fundamentals and advanced techniques.
  • To acquire practical and theoretical skills in the technique of hysteroscopy.
  • To acquire the skills to apply the technique of hysteroscopy in the day to day practice by applying the tips and tricks offered by the faculty.
