ISGE in collaboration with the CHRACERH at Yaoundé Cameroon did stage a “Teach the Teachers” course form January 23 through 27. Theoretical and hands on suturing courses were staged at the hands on facilities of the CHRACERH . Theoretical sessions were held at the auditorium of the institute. This time the emphasis has been on the one to one teaching in the theatre both laparoscopic hysterectomies and hysteroscopic myomectomies have been performed.

At the opening the vice-chancellor of the university Yaoundé I was present together with the local political authorities and the collaboration between the ISGE and the university has been emphasised.

On Wednesday a tribute to our regretted Medical Director Ornella Sizzi was followed by a religious reflective moment. Alfonso Rossetti husband of our late Ornella reacted very emotional and told the audience that his wife would have been very proud witnessing the appreciation of the crowd for her teaching in the past years.
